Company founder & CEO Stevie Rachmuth, remembers walking 47th Street with his father, a lifetime jeweler, with his sight set on returning someday. Stevie decided to cast one of the buttons from his father’s dress shirts in pure gold. The design was iconic: simple and refined. In 2012, Stevie created the first button necklace. The dog tag shape was designed soon after. Little did Stevie know, a decade later, he would start SLR Jewels. The heartfelt classics created in the original collection are the pillars of our beginning.
